The Trust is delighted to announce the launch of the Rosneath Peninsula Heritage Trail.

Craig AileyThe trail focuses on the West Coast of the Peninsula from Kilcreggan Pier to Peaton and guides you around some of the houses, churches and shops that continue to give Cove & Kilcreggan its enduring character.

The trail introduces you to 13 different locations of historic interest on the Peninsula providing a summary of its history. It also provides an interesting insight into the history of the area and an introduction to the notable architects whose buildings you will encounter on the trail including: Alexander Thomson, Campbell Douglas and James Chalmers.

You can download a copy of the trail leaflet to print by clicking Rosneath Peninsula West Heritage Trail or pick up a copy from a number of locations including Cove Shop, Cove Burgh Hall, Cove Library, Knockderry Hotel, Commodore Hotel (Helensburgh), Ardencaple Hotel (Rhu) , Helensburgh Railway Station or the Glasgow Tourist Office.
