Map 1 – The Peninsula and Glasgow

The Peninsula is six miles long and between one mile and two and a half miles wide.

This first map illustrates the location of the Peninsula in relation to Glasgow.  We are just under 50 miles from Glasgow City Centre and 41 miles from Glasgow Aiport.

This map also shows that we are directly across the River Clyde from Gourock which can be accessed via a passenger ferry that runs from around 0700 to early evening Monday to Saturday. There is also a restricted service on Sunday during the summer months. Click here for information on the ferry timetable and fares.

Map 2 – The Peninsula Close Up

This second map second provides a closer view of the Peninsula itself.  It illustrates how it lies between the Gare Loch and Loch Long in Argyll and Bute, on the north shore of the Firth of Clyde and how it is connected to Helensburgh by a road (B833) that runs through Rosneath, Clynder, Garelochhead and Rhu.
